The House Card In American mahjong you win by matching a hand on a card. Groups usually buy a new official card each year. This is our own free card, with 46 hands. It works the same way. If you're new to the card, start with the lesson Reading a hand .
How to read it 222 222 222 Each color is a different suit. Same color, same suit. Any suits work unless the note says otherwise. D A dragon. It must match the suit of its color: Red goes with Craks, Green with Bams, Soap with Dots. 0 Soap, the white dragon. In year hands like 2026, it stands for zero. F A flower. All 8 flowers count the same. N E W S The winds: North, East, West and South. X / C X means exposed: you may call tiles and show sets face up. C means concealed: you can't call tiles, except the last tile for mahjong. 25 The value. Each player pays this when you win. Whoever threw your winning tile pays double.
